EZ Pass Transponder

I'm getting a 2004 545 in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if anyone knew whether the new cars accept the EZ pass type of transponder on the windshield. The reason I ask is that in certain cars, the winshield is specially treated and for those cars, a special transponder is attached to the front license plate.

I have a 2004 530i and my EZpass transponder works fine.
