Suggestions on extended warranty??

My 06 530XiT wagon's warranty will be up in Nov. and was interested in others who have bought an extended warranty. I plan on keeping the car and was wondering if it's worth the cost and if one should shop around and or deal with the sales person's?
I haven't look into the particulars yet.
Any suggestions?

I'm about to buy an extended warranty. My research is pushing me towards WarrantyDirect. My recommendation is find the garage that you plan on using... talk to them and see what they recommend. They are the ones that do most of the negotiation when it comes to explaining/justifying any fixes, so check their experience.
