Hello,
I have a 2001 530i that just bought. The car has 20000 miles and looks to be in great shape. The last couple of days the battery is almost dead in the AM [thumbd] . I have an appointment tomorrow to have it looked at. Should the battery be covered under the factory warranty? I was told the warranty is still in effect untill 9/04 or 50000 miles.
Another thing, the the climate control fan that operates after the car has been shut off. I have read the manual to see how to shut it off. The manual is vague and I can't seem to shut it off. I find this fan thing most annoying
and would like it shut it off after I turn the car off.
Also, for some reason this car did not come with a factory CD changer in the trunk. It says its wired for it, but the wires I see are for the phone(these wires look like coax wire). Where are the wires for the CD? I found the power wire but am not able to locate the main wires to operate the changer....any ideas?
Thanks for the help.....![Cheers [cheers] [cheers]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_cheers.gif)
