e39 radio display replacement help

Greetings,
I'm looking to replace the radio display on my 2000 525i due to bad pixels. The part number on the display is 65.82-6 909 124. Does anyone know which of these numbers is the important one so I can find replacement? I can find 65.82-6 but the other numbers usually differ. Any responses will be much appreciated.

is it under warranty? if you throw a fit at bmw they should cover the parts, you'll just have to cover labor.

do a search, maybe check out BMWNA and see if they'll replace it (obviously pay for labor). It's a pretty common problem for the e39s, luckily mine hasn't gotten out of hand yet.

I remember finding a website walking you through how to fix it, it's essentially pushing the connectinos back on the board, but I don't mind my two pixels missing that much...yet!
