Hey everyone. I have an E39 `01 530i and have been wanting to upgrade the sound system. However, I've been getting different answers from different people (stereo "experts"/non BMW owners). So I decided to come to you for help.
Can I upgrade my speakers and add a six channel amp and get better sound quality without having to change the head unit? If so, is there a certain kind/make/model of speaker that would be best? I'm not looking to enter contests, but I would like to get a better range than what I'm getting now from the factory system.
